Xiaomi and Zdeer have launched a hearing device in the form of Bluetooth earphones.

Available on Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform, the Zdeer hearing device has been developed in collaboration with Xiaomi. Beyond sound amplification, the device also supports several health monitoring functions for users.

Designed like regular wireless earphones with a neckband, the device is actually a 34-channel hearing aid with a maximum amplification of up to 50 dB and an incredibly low latency of just 0.003 seconds. However, amplifying sound is not its only function.

According to the gadget’s description, it includes a tonometer and can even track blood glucose levels. All data is transmitted to the proprietary smartphone app, where users can customize the device settings. The built-in battery provides up to 40 hours of autonomy.

For participants in the crowdfunding campaign, the device is offered at a discounted price of 999 yuan, approximately equivalent to $138. This innovation caters to users, including those in the USA, looking for advanced hearing and health monitoring solutions integrated into wearable technology.
