While Samsung prepares for its major Galaxy Unpacked presentation, specifications for one of the new releases—the Z Flip 6—have already surfaced online. In summary, compared to its predecessor, the manufacturer has increased the battery capacity while maintaining the smartphone’s thickness, and has installed a new processor, camera, and updated price tag.
According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature:
- A main 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 × 1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- An additional 3.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 748 × 720 pixels.
- Dimensions: 165.1 × 71.9 × 6.9 mm when unfolded and 85.1 × 71.9 × 14.9 mm when folded, with a weight of 187 g.
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a clock speed of 3.39 GHz.
- A 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 10 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
- Storage options of 256 or 512 GB.
- A 4000 mAh battery with charging power up to 25 W.
- Connectivity: 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C.
