Insiders have leaked details about the specifications of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which is expected to be unveiled this week. It seems that the new model will not differ significantly from the base version, the Phone (2a).
According to the information, the Phone (2a) Plus will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is claimed to be 1300 nits, with a maximum brightness of 1100 nits in “high brightness” mode. The screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the front camera might be upgraded to a 50MP module, compared to the 32MP on the current model.
Both the main and ultra-wide cameras are expected to have a 50MP resolution. In addition to the enhanced front camera, the Phone (2a) Plus may offer 4K video recording, optical image stabilization, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 50-watt fast charging.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is anticipated to be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The release date is set for August 31.
