The Xiaomi Smart Band 9, recently unveiled in China, has yet to be officially announced for release in other countries. However, the international version of the device briefly appeared on Amazon’s website before being quickly taken down. A screenshot of the listing has since circulated online.
According to the source, the gadget, identified by the model number BHR8340GL, was priced at €39.99 (approximately $43.30), compared to $34 for the Chinese model. The expected announcement date for the international version is August 19, though this has not been officially confirmed. Last year, the international variant of the Smart Band 8 was released two months after the original.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display. Compared to its predecessor, the new model offers improved accuracy in tracking workout progress and health metrics, has upgraded from a plastic to a metal and ceramic build, and boasts extended battery life.
