The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is set to be the company’s latest compact mid-range smartphone, featuring a 6.4-inch display with symmetrical bezels, according to insider Paras Guglani. He also revealed details about the processor, dimensions, battery capacity, and camera resolution.
According to the insider, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo will feature a 6.4-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate (compared to the 6.55-inch display on the Edge 40 Neo). The device is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. Its camera system will likely include three modules: a 50MP main camera and two auxiliary cameras with 13MP and 10MP resolutions. The front camera is expected to be 32MP.
The smartphone may come with a 4310mAh battery and 256GB of storage. It will run on Android 14, have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and measure 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm with a weight of 171g. One of the color options might match the Pantone Poinciana shade, as seen in the leaked images.
Given that the previous model was launched in September, the release of the Edge 50 Neo can be anticipated in the coming months.
