It’s a flop. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has arrived on Steam but seems to be almost unwanted by everyone

Half a year after its release, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora made its way to Steam. However, it was not warmly received, and judging by the metrics, there aren’t many eager players for Ubisoft’s latest open-world offering. Ubisoft’s new release hit Steam with a massive 40% discount — offering the shooter at a significantly reduced price. The game is available in four different editions, with initial prices ranging from $70 up to an optimistic $130. For an additional $60, players were offered a digital artbook and in-game bonuses.

Nevertheless, according to SteamCharts data, players are reluctant to engage with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora even at a discounted price: the peak concurrent player count stalled at 463 — dismal figures for a high-budget AAA adventure. Furthermore, the game’s page displays an equally disheartening number of player reviews: in the first days, only 73 reviews were posted, with an average rating of 65%.

This indicates a lackluster reception for the game, even in the USA where expectations were high.
