HUAWEI to Release “Lite” Version of MatePad SE Tablet

Information about the upcoming HUAWEI MatePad SE Vitality Edition 2024—a more affordable version of the MatePad SE—has surfaced on Weibo. Insider Evaluation Shop shared details about the hardware specifications and hinted at the tablet’s approximate release date.

The first mention of this model appeared in the official description of the MatePad SE, where the manufacturer compared it to the yet-to-be-released Vitality Edition. According to these details, the new tablet will feature an 11-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Kirin 710A processor and run HarmonyOS 3.

Evaluation Shop also suggests that the device might come with a Snapdragon 680 chip. The insider claims the tablet will be unveiled in July and will be $27 cheaper than the original MatePad SE, retaining all other features. HUAWEI has not yet officially announced this device.
