New details have emerged about the upcoming foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V3. Unknown sources have released more images showcasing the internal display and the device’s thickness. Additionally, sample photos taken with its camera have been posted.
The Honor Magic V3 aims to inherit the title of the thinnest foldable smartphone from the Magic V2. Recall that the thickness of the Magic V2 when folded is 9.9 mm and unfolded is only 4.7 mm. It is reported that the Magic V3 will be approximately 4.4% thinner due to the use of a silicon battery.
The internal screen still exhibits a fold at the crease, but the photographer claims that it is not noticeable during regular use of the smartphone. An insider also shared sample photos taken with the Honor Magic V3. Apparently, these were from a closed event showcasing Honor’s new products. It’s evident that the device effectively separates subjects in portrait mode, but further conclusions will need more evaluation.
The presentation of the Honor Magic V3 is scheduled for next Friday, July 12th.
