Net profit soared to 100.1 million zlotys ($25.6 million), exceeding the anticipated 76 million zlotys.
Sales revenue for the period climbed 30% year-over-year to 226.8 million zlotys, primarily fueled by sustained strong sales of Phantom Liberty, an expansion of its flagship game Cyberpunk 2077.
Looking ahead, the company disclosed no major game launches planned for the next few years. CFO Piotr Nielubowicz emphasized the need to invest in new projects, noting their preparedness due to accumulated cash reserves and the anticipation of continued robust sales from their existing catalog.
Among their upcoming projects is the first installment of a trilogy expanding on their highly successful medieval fantasy franchise “The Witcher.” Codenamed Polaris, the project involved 407 team members as of April 30 and is slated to commence production in the latter half of this year, with an expected release in 2026 or 2027.
Meanwhile, the team working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Orion, comprised 56 developers as of April 30.
In April, CD Projekt received the Evolving Game award for Cyberpunk 2077 at the BAFTA Games Awards 2024.
