Blackmagic Camera Pro App Now Available on Android

New York tech enthusiasts and professional videographers, rejoice! The once iOS-exclusive Blackmagic Camera app is now accessible to Android smartphone users. This app is designed for professional mobile filming, offering a plethora of tools for manual camera adjustments and various features for creating cinematic videos.

Blackmagic Camera boasts a wide range of video fine-tuning tools, from frame rate adjustments to white balance settings. The app seamlessly integrates with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic Cloud, enabling users to sync footage with the video editor and collaborate on projects. The interface even includes a built-in chat for discussing edits in real-time.

Currently, the app is compatible with a limited number of smartphones: Samsung Galaxy models from the 23rd series (including the FE model) and all seventh-generation Google Pixel devices. It’s worth noting that the Android version of the app does not support the Log color space, a feature available in the iOS version.
